The Sony Alpha 500 series comprises of two cameras with many similarities, the A500 and the A550. The value difference between these two cameras is the result of the inclusion of more advanced features in the 550 imitation. These differences are seen in the sensor resolution, with the A500 having a resolution of 12.3 MP as compared to A550′s 14.2 MP. The A550 also has a shooting celerity of 7fps while the A500 has a maximum of 5fps.
