Once you have completed your virus scan, you should then unplug your ethernet (internet) cable. If you’re using wireless, shut your wireless off. Unplugging your internet cable is optional, however required for the complete cleansing effect. With your ethernet cable unplugged you should then run a Registry Cleaner Software.
